Privacy Policy

QuickQuote (“we,” “us”) provides insurance-quoting software used by independent insurance agencies. When you use a chat widget, quote page, or lead form powered by QuickQuote, you are interacting with a specific agency’s installation of our software. That agency is the primary recipient of the information you provide and is the business that will contact you about insurance. This policy explains what we collect on the platform, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide — name, phone number, email address — and your consent to be contacted.
- Property information — the address you enter and property details (such as year built, square footage, and construction type) obtained from you and from public-records and property-data providers.
- Conversation and form content — the messages you send to the assistant and your answers to application questions.
- Documents you upload — for example insurance policies or inspection reports, including information our systems extract from them.
- Technical information — IP address and basic usage events (such as opening the widget), used for security, abuse prevention, and funnel analytics.
The assistant is automated
The chat experience is an automated AI assistant, not a human. Conversation content is processed by third-party AI model providers to generate responses and preliminary estimates. A licensed agent at the agency reviews and finalizes any actual quote.
How we use information
- To produce preliminary insurance estimates you request.
- To deliver your inquiry to the agency whose widget or page you used, so it can follow up with you as described in the consent disclosure.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform — including comparing estimates against real outcomes to improve accuracy, preventing abuse, and monitoring errors.
How we share information
- With the agency whose widget or page you used — your contact details, property information, conversation, estimates, and uploaded documents.
- With service providers that help us run the platform: address and property-data services, email and SMS delivery, cloud hosting and file storage, AI model providers, privacy-friendly analytics, and error monitoring. They may use the data only to provide their services to us.
- For legal reasons — when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Communications and opting out
You will only receive marketing calls or texts if you agreed to the consent disclosure shown when you submitted your contact information. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact the agency or us directly. Consent is never a condition of purchase.
Retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above. You may ask us or the agency to delete your personal information; we will redact your name, contact details, and other identifying data from our records. To make a request, contact the agency you interacted with or email us at quotes@boultboard.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for adults seeking insurance and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Email quotes@boultboard.com.
